My Story
Why did you decide to study in Switzerland?
“Switzerland is renowned for being a reliable place to study. Besides, it was a win-win situation for me, because it would have been much harder to get a place on my chosen course in Germany.”
Are there any negatives of studying in Switzerland?
“It can’t be denied that the living costs here are significantly higher in comparison to my home town. Eating out here is also really difficult on a student budget. On the plus side, student jobs are fairly easy to find and are generally very well paid.”
How do you find the Swiss mentality?
“The Swiss certainly aren’t as direct as the Germans! You do have to tone down this directness in order to fit in! I have found the Swiss to be extremely nice, very reliable and honest. I’m very happy amongst them!”
